DCG Celebrates Veterans with Coffee and Doughnuts

On Nov. 1, The Dental College of Georgia (DCG) celebrated Veterans Day with free coffee and doughnuts for all of our DCG family. The event was held in the first-floor lobby from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and featured gallons of coffee and hundreds of doughnuts from Krispy Kreme.

The DCG and Augusta University value our relationships with the U.S. military and particularly with Fort Eisenhower. The fort is the home of the U.S. Army’s advanced dental education programs in graduate Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) programs. The DCG is proud to host the Army’s Prosthodontics Residency Program.

In addition, many of our DCG family members are past, current, or future members of the armed forces. Many of our administration, faculty, staff, residents and students have served, are serving, or plan to serve upon completion of their goals at AU. Our gratitude is with them at all times.

Thank you to each of our students, faculty, residents and staff for your service or your support of our service members. Happy Veterans Day.
