AAWD Handcrafts Blankets for the Linus Project

American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD) held a blanket-making session on Nov. 3 to benefit Project Linus. Members of AAWD gathered to create fun and colorful no-sew fleece blankets to donate to children at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia (CHOG). DCG students crafted 58 blankets in just two hours. Project Linus strives to provide a sense of security, warmth and comfort, to children from premature babies to teenagers who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
