During October, the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residents enjoyed their annual “Endo Week.” During this focused week of specialized training, residents attended 10 hours of lectures on endodontics.

The curriculum is provided by Dr. Brian Bergeron, Professor of Endodontics; Dr. Stephanie Sidow, Associate Professor of Endodontics; and Dr. Mario Romero, Associate Professor of Restorative Sciences. Topics include: access, instrumentation, cleaning, obturation and restoration. This training is completed by a full day of endodontic treatments for AEGD patients. The AEGD program is grateful to the Department of Endodontics for their support.

Mr. Nathan Shack of Coltene dental supply company hosted a “dinner and learn” for the residents at Frog Hollow Tavern.
