In recognition of the Augusta University student who has completed the best tooth waxing for the semester in REST 5111, Dental Anatomy and Occlusion, The DCG awards the Phillip E. Isaacman Masterwaxer Award. Dr. Maurice W. Lewis (photo right), Associate Professor of Restorative Sciences, organizes the award, which comes with a certificate suitable for framing. It also comes with a very special dental instrument: a cleoid/discord carver that was designed and made for the West Virginia School of Dentistry. This year, The DCG and Dr. Lewis awarded the Masterwaxer designation to Ruiyang Zhao (photo left), Class of 2027. Congratulations, Ms. Zhao!
