ASDA Golf Tournament Links Students, Sponsors

The DCG chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) held their annual golf tournament on Oct. 11, 2023, at Mount Vintage Golf Club in North Augusta, SC.

The event welcomed 20 teams of participants to the 18-hole field of tournament competition, and offered smaller contests, such as closest to the pin and longest drive.

The winning team included Jacob Bass, Sam Dromsky and John Ratchford, all Class of 2024; and Dr. John Zyzo, Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry.

Min Lim, Class of 2025, won the closest-to-the-pin contest. And Gray King, Class of 2024, won the longest drive contest.

The event was supported by nine patrons, who sponsored holes, joined teams and mingled with participants.

ASDA is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy.
