ASDA Hosts Annual Fever Week at Augusta University

The DCG chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) recently hosted their annual ASDA Fever Week, a series of events designed to introduce dental students to the benefits of ASDA membership and foster a sense of community.

ASDA Fever Week is a nationwide initiative that encourages chapters to showcase their programs, share ideas and strengthen the overall ASDA experience. Events included:

• Membership Monday: New dental students were welcomed with ASDA t-shirts, welcome letters and a lunch and learn session with Heartland Dental.

• Wellness Check: Students were encouraged to participate in fitness activities at the Wellness Center and were entered to win a $25 gift card.

• Welcome Back Reception: Students, faculty and vendors gathered at Sole for appetizers, live music and networking.

• Lunch and Learn Sessions: Dental students from various classes had the opportunity to learn about financial planning and other relevant topics.

• Ice Cream Social: A casual gathering was held in the Dental Student Lounge to promote camaraderie and relaxation.
