Dr. Sarah Baker, a third-year prosthodontic resident (Class of 2024), presented on the main podium at the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) annual meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, as part of the Emerging Leaders Session.
Baker presented a complex full-mouth rehabilitation that she completed with Dr. Liz Floodeen, a fourth-year oral surgery resident. Only five finalists were selected to present at the AO annual meeting from a worldwide applicant pool. Applicants must be in practice under 10 years and present a completed implant case.
Dr. Todd Schoenbaum, Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences, mentored Dr. Baker for this presentation. Schoenbaum is the clinical research director for the Center for Excellence in Research, Scholarship and Innovation (CERSI).
