Brackett Appointed to AAOD Research Committee

Dr. Martha G. Brackett, Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences, has been appointed to the Research Committee of the American Academy of Operative Dentistry.

This committee selects the most prominent international academicians for the highest honors conferred by the academy, including presentation of the keynote Buonocore Memorial Lecture at the annual meeting and annual receipt of the prestigious Hollenback Memorial Prize, dedicated to recognizing those performing outstanding scientific research that significantly improves the quality of dental practice. Congratulations, Dr. Brackett!

The DCG has been well represented among the list of Hollenback award winners including the following faculty members: Dr. Carl W. Fairhurst (1994); Dr. David H. Pashley (1998); Dr. J. Rodway Mackert (2010) and Dr. Frederick A. Rueggeberg (2017).
