Brackett Named CODE Southern Region Director

Congratulations to Dr. Martha G. Brackett, Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences, for being selected Southern Regional Director of the Consortium of Operative Dentistry Educators (CODE). CODE is affiliated with the American Dental Education Association and the Academy of Operative Dentistry.

CODE members collaborate and standardize teaching in restorative dentistry with an emphasis on operative dentistry education. The Southern region contains 13 dental schools in the southeastern U.S. DCG faculty who have served CODE include past CODE national director Dr. Thomas Garman, former DCG Director of the Division of Operative Dentistry in the Department of Restorative Dentistry; and Dr. Kevin Frazier, DCG Vice Dean; and Dr. Gary Holmes, former DCG Assistant Professor of Oral Rehabilitation, both of whom are past Southern Regional Directors.
