Cornelius selected for AAP leadership program

Congratulations to Dr. Celine Joyce Cornelius, associate professor and predoctoral program director in the Department of Periodontics, on her selection to participate in the 2026 American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Leadership, Engagement, Action and Development (LEAD) Program.

The program, taking place Sept. 25-27 in Chicago, is designed to identify and develop future leaders in periodontics. Participants will explore leadership opportunities in organized dentistry, clinical and scientific leadership, community outreach and professional relationship development.

Cornelius’ selection recognizes her leadership potential and commitment to advancing the field of periodontics. We congratulate her on this achievement and look forward to seeing the impact of her continued leadership in the profession.
