Dr. Rhoda J. Sword (DMD, 2003) has been named chair of the Department of General Dental Sciences for the Marquette University School of Dentistry.
Sword joins Marquette from the DCG, where she was most recently a professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences. She served in course director roles and contributed to student success, service and student research.
Sword is a 1999 graduate of Baylor University, received her DMD in 2003 and in 2024 achieved “double Jag” status by earning a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Management from AU.
