DCG Appreciates Our Dental Assistants

The week of March 5-11 was designated Dental Assistants Recognition Week by the American Dental Assistants Association as the perfect time to acknowledge and recognize the versatile, multi-talented members of our dental team. Dental assistants provide crucial contributions to patient care and are essential to our ability to serve our patients and the state of Georgia. The theme for 2023 is “The ♥ of Dental Offices Through Education, Commitment, & Safety”, reflecting the importance of dentistry’s role in health care and the responsibilities of dental assistants, who are central in improving a clinic’s productivity and enhancing patient satisfaction.

To celebrate, Interim Dean Nancy Young traversed the DCG and spoke briefly with the dental assistants in each department to thank them and gift them with custom cookies from Two Moms Kitchen.
