DCG Enjoys Mental Health Day

The second DCG Mental Health Day on May 15 offered a variety of activities to help employees unwind and recharge.

Hydration stations and healthy snacks were served in the 2nd and 4th-floor break rooms, courtesy of The DCG Dean’s Office. Employees enjoyed flavored water, fruit, and snacks until supplies lasted.

For some furry friends and feel-good cuddles, the Alliance of Therapy Dogs brought their adorable companions to the 5th Floor Lobby.

While there was an unavoidable cancellation from the yoga instructor, Space Yoga at Central and Monte Sano avenues kindly offered a relaxing yoga session.

Island Wellness Massage, massage therapist Kylandrea King, and SLM Massage offered 5-minute neck massages in GC 4243, helping employees relieve tension and unwind.

The DCG Dean’s Office also provided coloring supplies, allowing employees to unleash their inner artist or simply have some fun coloring. Participants could choose to relax individually in GC 1006 or join a group coloring project in the hallway for some social interaction.
