The DCG hosted its annual Family Day celebration on Sept. 24. The event is an opportunity for our dental students’ families and friends to visit the campus and enjoy a glimpse of their students’ lives at the DCG.
The Class of 2025 and the Class of 2026 both hosted their families this year, as the Class of 2025’s celebration was delayed by the COVID pandemic. About 350 people from all over the state of Georgia and the region attended Family Day. They enjoyed guided tours of the college’s facilities, including the Thomas P. Hinman Simulation Lab, entertaining and informational presentations, lunch and more.
Sara Gray (left), Vice President of the Class of 2026, hosted a gift table for her classmates, with games and prizes for their family members. Gray is the child of DCG alum Dr. James Knighton (DDS, ’94), who practices dentistry in Adel, Ga.
