DCG names 2027 Marvin C. Goldstein Lecture Series speaker

The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University is pleased to announce Stephen J. Chu, DMD, MSD, CDT as the keynote speaker for the 2027 Marvin C. Goldstein Lecture Series, held during AU Alumni Weekend on Friday, April 23, 2027, at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center in Augusta, Georgia.

Presented by the Marvin C. Goldstein Family and the DCG Continuing Education Office, the annual lecture brings together dental professionals, alumni, faculty, residents and students for an engaging day of education and innovation.

Dr. Chu is internationally recognized as a leader in esthetic, restorative and implant dentistry. With advanced training spanning prosthodontics, restorative dentistry and dental technology, he connects clinical artistry with laboratory precision. Known for his engaging teaching style, Dr. Chu combines evidence-based research, clinical expertise and practical techniques to help clinicians achieve predictable, natural-looking results.

The Marvin C. Goldstein Lecture Series honors the legacy of Dr. Marvin C. Goldstein, a noted Atlanta orthodontist and philanthropist who believed the integrity of the dental profession could best be preserved through the pursuit of clinical excellence and the sharing of knowledge among colleagues.
