DCG Sinks its Teeth into Intramural Championships

Huge congratulations to the D1 T1 women’s 5v5 intramural basketball team (photo left) and the RUN DMD men’s 5v5 intramural basketball team from The Dental College of Georgia for their amazing runs in the recent intramural championships through Augusta University Campus Recreation!

The D1 T1 ladies brought home the top spot after a thrilling championship game win against the Jumbo Texas Frozen intramural team. The winning squad is comprised of dental students Lauren Barger, Madeline Crumpton, Rachel Dobbs, Lillian Fantz, Stephanie Felonta, Sarah Johnson, Nathalie Paladines, Katlyn Steinmetz and Lindsey Tabor.

The RUN DMD men’s team also balled out on the court, ultimately finishing the season as strong contenders after a close game against the BTA intramural team. The team members include Ryan Avidano, Cameron Cushing, Sam Jackson, Joshua Jernigan, Phillip Prince, Tanner Scaggs, David Watson, Tanner Weeks and Miles Woodard.
