DCG Smiles per Hour is pacing past its fundraising goal

DCG Smiles per Hour is proving that when the DCG community comes together, we can go the extra mile – literally. Our first-ever Paceline PaceDay team has already raised $2,796, nearly triple our original $1,000 goal.Led by Team Captain Dr. Rafael Pacheco, our faculty, staff, residents, family and friends are walking and running to support cancer research at the Georgia Cancer Center, including research focused on oral cancer.

This year’s effort is especially meaningful as we walk in memory of Dr. Nancy Young (DMD, 2006), former dean, who passed away from cancer in June.Registration may be closed, but there’s still time to help us go even farther. Consider making a donation to DCG Smiles per Hour and supporting a colleague’s fundraising goal. Each individual member aims to raise $200.
