The Department of Endodontics attended the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) annual meeting in Los Angeles, California, on April 17-20. The event gave attendees networking opportunities, hands-on workshops and access to the latest advancements, breakthroughs and techniques.
Several of our DCG family members presented lectures or research at the conference. Dr. Franklin Tay, Chair of the Department of Endodontics, presented the lecture “Current Evidence in Vital Pulp Therapy Based on AAE Position Statement 2021“; and Dr. Brian Bergeron, Professor of Endodontics and Program Director for the Advanced Education in Endodontics residency program, presented the lecture “ABE Boardwalk.”
Dr. John Branton, Dr. Josh Frazier and Dr. Diana Tran, senior residents, presented their research at the conference in either poster or table clinic format.
And Dr. Fucong Tian (Endodontics Residency, 2020), a former assistant professor in the AU Department of Endodontics, achieved board-certification in endodontics and was presented his pin at the conference’s Grossman Ceremony.
The DCG also hosted a reunion dinner for alumni, faculty, residents and friends of the program – including Ft. Eisenhower faculty past and present.
