Endo Resident GraduationThe Advanced Education Program in Endodontics Class of 2023 recently celebrated their graduation at Augusta Country Club. The graduates, Dr. Ranya Eshera and Dr. Joseph Everett, were joined by colleagues, family, friends, faculty and staff. Dr. Franklin Tay, Professor and Chair of the Department of Endodontics, hosted the evening along with Dr. Kevin Frazier, Vice Dean, and Dr. Joseph Vitolo, Associate Dean for Advanced Education.

Tay thanked all those in attendance and described what a strong program they had just graduated from. The graduates were presented with certificates by the program director Dr. Brian Bergeron who asked them to think about giving back to the career that will give them so much and congratulated them on their next steps in their careers. Eshera has joined Advanced Root Canal Specialists in Columbia, Maryland. Everett has joined Elite Endodontics of New Hampshire in Hudson, New Hampshire.

Frazier presented the Dr. Connie L. Drisko Dental Resident Professionalism Award to Everett for his outstanding clinical skills and dedication to the program (see story below). The program is accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the board certification examination in endodontics. With board certification, graduates can practice endodontics independently. Congratulations to the Class of 2023!
