Environmental Club Cleans the Streets

On Feb. 24, The Dental College of Georgia Environmental Club hosted a successful volunteer event focused on cleaning up trash in the local community. The event took place near The DCG, along the area of 12th Street and Wrightsboro Road.

Ten dedicated students from various class years participated, demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship. Students Jake Goldberg (Class of 2025); DJ Paap and Sommie Nixon (both Class of 2026), and Will Gladden, Max Gilchrist, Pinkney Gilchrist, Conner Peterson, Brooks Norton, Bryce Piper, and Noah Shepard (all Class of 2027) combined their efforts to collect a total of 16 bags of trash.

The DCG Environmental Club is committed to raising awareness about environmental issues and taking action to make a positive impact on the community.
