AU’s Mastering Management Academy honored five DCG employees on Aug. 6 after the employees successfully completed AU’s new leadership development program.
Clinical Business Operations Manager Sylvia Hammond, Dental Assistant Supervisor Beyra Ortega, Director of Patient Services Tenishia Smith, Dispensary Manager Jeanette Thomas and Coordinator of Administrative Operations Kim Thompson were among the first graduates of AU’s new Mastering Management Academy leadership development program, gaining skills and insights to support their continued growth as leaders.
The program combines self-paced online learning through AU Percipio with two half-day, in-person sessions facilitated by AU senior leaders. Throughout the program, participants explored essential management topics, including strategic decision-making, change management, conflict resolution and building a culture of excellence.
