The DCG is pleased to announce the return of Matarsha Kendrick as the new Student Recruitment Coordinator in the Office of Students, Admissions and Alumni.
With more than 20 years of dedicated service to Augusta University, Kendrick brings a wealth of experience, exceptional administrative skills and a strong commitment to student success to her new role within the admissions team.
“I’ve always loved working with students, and with my background in admissions and recruitment, I aspire to help my students achieve the same career growth that the DCG has provided me, leading to a long and fulfilling career,” Kendrick said.
Kendrick will leverage her extensive background in admissions, recruitment and business operations to guide prospective and current students toward achieving their academic and career aspirations. Her reputation for compassion and dedication underscores her genuine passion for helping others.
Before rejoining the DCG, Kendrick served as an Admissions Counselor for the Medical College of Georgia, where she provided invaluable guidance to students pursuing medical programs. Her prior experience also includes a role as an Administrative Assistant for donor engagement activities within the Office of Philanthropy at Augusta University.
“Returning to the DCG has greatly benefited me due to my familiarity with its culture and the established relationships I’ve built,” Kendrick said. “It feels like home, and I see it as a family where I have potential for career growth.”
Kendrick holds a Master of Strategic Leadership Development from Clayton State University, a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Georgia Southern University and an Associate of Applied Science in Business Studies from Augusta Technical College.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Kendrick enjoys exploring ethnic food, traveling and actively volunteering in her community.
