Future orthodontists gather for professional development forum

DCG orthodontic residents joined nearly 500 peers from across the U.S. and Canada in Ann Arbor, Michigan, July 30 to Aug. 2, for the annual Graduate Orthodontic Residents Program (GORP), a weekend built around professional development, collaboration and camaraderie.

The trip offered a chance to step outside the grind of clinic work and connect with the next generation of the specialty on a national scale. The weekend gave residents easy, informal ways to connect with classmates and meet peers from programs around the country. The heart of the weekend was a full day of educational programming featuring nationally recognized speakers, giving our residents exposure to fresh clinical insight and ideas they can bring back to their own practice.
