Jauregui Selected as Provost Learning Scholar

Dr. Catherine Jauregui, Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Biology & Diagnostic Sciences, was recently honored by the AU Office of the Provost as a Provost Learning Scholar. These scholars facilitate a Provost Learning Community (PLC) of eight to 10 faculty members who explore teaching and learning opportunities with colleagues across campus. The scholars help guide the community towards its goals with materials, discussions, experiences, and more. They are chosen for their strong commitment to being an innovator, collaborator and highly effective instructor. Dr. Jauregui’s PLC was focused on the Teaching and Assessment of Critical Thinking and the group will be presenting workshops for faculty in the Fall.
