Junior DMD Student Awarded Scholarship

The Augusta University Faculty Club (AUFC) has awarded five $2,000 scholarships to students from each health sciences college for the next academic year. Exceptional applicants were chosen via a blind review process based on three criteria: financial need, academic promise and service to others.

From the DCG, the AUFC selected Isabella Battallas. Battallas has a B.S. in Biology from Kennesaw State University. She is Secretary for the Class of 2024, a DCG Ambassador, a member of the Community/Outreach Service committee of the Student National Dental Association, the Hispanic Student Dental Association and the American Association of Women in Dentistry.
