Local TV News Assistant Director Talks Broadcast Journalism Ethics with Comm Majors

  Sarah Lusk, assistant news director for local TV news station WRDW, talked with a packed room of students on September 19, from 1:00 – 2:15 p.m. The discussion, in UH 243 on Summerville Campus, started with about ten minutes of opening remarks by Lusk, after which she opened it up for student questions and interacted with students for the next hour on a variety of journalistic dilemmas and ethical issues.

The event was hosted by the AU Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, with special thanks to Dr. Ashley Hopkins.
