Marksmen of all ages lined the course during the 3rd Annual Log-A-Load Sporting Clay Shoot. Participants shot clay targets and competed for prizes, but most importantly they were fundraising for the kids at our Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
Members of the forestry community raised more than $23,000 for the kids at Children’s!
“We are proud to host this fundraiser for the kids and support our local CMN Hospital,” said John Coombs, forester with International Paper. “We hold a special place in our heart for kids struggling with an illness or any medical condition and will do what we can to help them.”
Log-A-Load for Kids is a nationwide giving campaign through which the forestry community contributes to local hospitals affiliated with the CMN Hospitals network to provide medical care to children whose families cannot pay for treatment.
