Pacheco named to list of top 100 shaping the future of dentistry

Dr. Rafael Pacheco, DCG associate dean for digital dentistry, has been named to the inaugural USA Dental Report 100 for 2026, a national list recognizing 100 clinicians, educators, founders and storytellers who are helping shape the future of dentistry.

The list recognizes Pacheco’s work as an educator, clinician and leader, placing him among dental professionals from across the United States and Canada making an impact through teaching, mentoring, innovation and sharing their expertise. Nearly half of the 100 honorees are educators.

Honorees were selected based on their clinical and educational contributions, influence among peers, innovation and service to the profession and community. USA Dental Report considered teaching, lecturing, publishing, mentoring and the ability to influence how other dental professionals practice. Also considered were editorial research, industry nominations and their presence at professional meetings and in dental media. The list recognizes those making an impact now, rather than serving as a lifetime-achievement award.
