On Sept. 29, DCG and Fort Gordon Periodontics residents enjoyed an in-person, interactive course sponsored by Geitstlich and hosted by Dr. Robert Levine, Chair Emeritus of the Division of Periodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center.
This course was composed of a morning session filled with didactic lectures covering Dr. Levine’s 10 Keys concept for replacement of multiple teeth in the esthetic zone and the science and application of MucoGraft and FibroGide. The second half of the day took place in our on-campus Sim Lab, where Dr. Levine demonstrated the proper use of MucoGraft and FibroGide using pig jaws. Throughout the entirety of the day, residents had the opportunity to engage with Dr. Levine and ask pertinent questions regarding his clinical experience and recommended surgical techniques. This event proved to be extremely impactful for our residents and benefited everyone in attendance.
