SNDA members represent the DCG at national conference

Members of DCG’s Student National Dental Association (SNDA) chapter traveled to Richmond, Virginia, for the SNDA National Conference, held July 16-19. Executive board members connected with student leaders from across the country, picked up new leadership strategies and built professional relationships that will serve them well beyond graduation.

The conference gave students plenty of ways to learn and grow. Continuing education seminars offered hands-on workshops and lectures from leaders across the profession. The student research competition let students present their work to peers and judges. And Dental Shark Tank challenged students to pitch innovative ideas, sharpening their problem-solving skills along the way.

Beyond the sessions, students found inspiration in SNDA’s larger mission of promoting and supporting the academic and social environment for dental students from underrepresented backgrounds nationwide.
