Nina Adams and Tristan Pugh, dental students in the Class of 2026, recently presented their research at the 29th Hinman Student Research Symposium hosted by The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Adams presented, “Effect of Free Fatty Acid Palmitate in Gingival Fibroblast Inflammatory Response.” Pugh presented, “Radiographic markers in Periapical Actinomycosis Infections: Characterizing Potentially Helpful Features in Clinical Practice.”
The Hinman Student Research Symposium is a national meeting that features oral and poster presentations of research studies by dental students and graduate trainees from dental schools across North America and Canada.
Congrats to both of our students, Adams and Pugh, for this career step!
