Welcome Dr. Karen J. Head, Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs

Faculty Senate extends a warm welcome to Karen J. Head, PhD, who assumes the role of Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs effective July 1, 2023. 

Dr. Head joins AU from Missouri University of Science and Technology, where she served as the Director of the Center for Creativity and Innovation and was a Professor of English and Technical Writing. Prior to her tenure at Missouri University of Science and Technology, Dr. Head was a faculty member at Georgia Tech for 17 years.
