Alum Acquires Dental Practice

Dr. Sadye Souther (DMD, 2018; General Practice Residency, 2019) has acquired the dental practice Marshview Dental, formerly known as Thomas I. Smith DMD. Souther, originally from Glynn County, acquired the practice and changed the name and branding to reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The practice recently underwent a rebrand consisting of a revamp to its visual identity, website and social media channels. Its new name, Marshview Dental, serves as a nod to the beautiful, coastal view and top-notch bird-watching patients get to soak in through the floor-to-ceiling windows in each examination room. Aside from these cosmetic updates, the business model and team, featuring five members boasting 10- to 20-year tenures, remain the same.

Souther launched her career with Dr. Angela Britt (DMD, 1992), where she worked for more than three years.
