Students and Alumni have big wins at the 2023 Association of Medical Illustrators Conference

This summer, our students and alumni were recognized for their outstanding artwork with awards during the 2023 Association of Medical Illustrators annual conference.

Student Awards:

Our students have made us proud by securing awards at the recent AMI meeting. Their success highlights their dedication and talent in medical illustration. We’re excited to see them continue to excel in their field. Congratulations to our award-winning students!

Vesalius Trust

We’re delighted to announce that several of our students have been honored with prestigious awards at the recent AMI meeting. Peter Naktin received the Joyce McGill grant for his research project titled “Targeted Preoperative Education Materials for Colorectal Surgery Patients,” which is awarded to the second-highest candidate. Additionally, Caeley Blechschmid, Megan Reeves, and Grace Wilson have been recognized for their outstanding work with Vesalius Trust Research Grants. Caeley was acknowledged for her project, “Integrin-Based Cell Adhesions and Modes of Cell Migration Interactive Learning Module,” while Megan and Grace were celebrated for their collaborative project, “Exosomes: Lessons Learned for Therapy, Diagnosis, and Pathogenesis.” We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these talented students for their significant accomplishments, and we take pride in their hard work being acknowledged in such a meaningful way.
