CG Alum Profiled by Local Media

Dr. Cristi Cheek (DMD, 2000), owner of Cheek Dental in Marietta, Georgia, was recently profiled by East Cobber, a local news publication in Cobb County, Georgia. The profile story, “Transforming Smiles and Lives Through Dentistry,” follows Cheek from second grade to her successful practice, including hiring another DCG alum as an associate, Dr. Kristina Chandler (DMD, 2011). In addition to her practice, Cheek is also active in the community through support for various charitable initiatives, including East Cobb Rotary Club’s Dog Days Run, a fundraising event to support local charities; Nacho Ordinary 5k to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Georgia Mission of Mercy and 410 Bridge, a Christian mission organization.
