Class of 2026 Drives Forward After Hurricane

Dr. Veena Pannu recently sent photo of her students back in class for the first time after Hurricane Helena.

“The Class of 2026 showed up on Oct. 7 for their class from 8-9 a.m., full of smiles and hugs. I am so proud of their commitment and resilience!” Pannu said.

The Dean’s Office echoed her sentiments, commending the vast majority of students and employees for their presence and determination to continue their academic pursuits. While not everyone was able to return on the first day, the overall spirit of the DCG Family was truly inspiring.
