DCG Student Pens Article for ASDA’s Contour Magazine

Fourth-year DCG student Dorsa Kaviani recently published an article in Contour, the magazine produced by the American Student Dental Association. The article, “Accelerating Women’s Advancement in Dentistry,” discusses Kaviani’s student clinic experiences in confronting outdated attitudes from patients towards women in the profession, and includes commentary from Dr. Jacqueline DeLash, a former Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences and the DCG’s 2020 Outstanding Young Alumna.

Contour magazine has a nationwide readership of 21,000 students and dental school employees, and reports on industry trends and student rights, and promotes students’ formative experiences within the dental community.
