El-Awady Wins Teaching Fellowship Award

Dr. Ahmed El-Awady was named the 2021 recipient of the Teaching Fellowship Award from American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. The fellowship is given to faculty members within their first three years of teaching at a U.S. periodontal training institution.

This prestigious award is part of the AAP Foundation mission to generate new knowledge, and enhance educational programs at all levels to create opportunities in periodontal education and practice.

El-Awady will receive the award at the AAP awards ceremony during the 2021 AAP annual meeting in Miami, Florida.
