Elsayed Receives Scholarship for ISEV Conference

Dr. Ranya Elsayed, Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics, was recently awarded a competitive scholarship for her abstract submitted to the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles Annual Meeting. Elsayed’s research project examines the role of microbially-induced exosomes in immune senescence, inflammaging and periodontal disease.
