Faculty Wins American Association of Immunologist Grant

Dr. Ranya Elsayed, Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics, received a 2022 American Association of Immunologists (AAI) Early Career Faculty Travel Grant. She will present at the AAI Annual Meeting, IMMUNOLOGY2022TM, held May 6-10 in Portland, Oregon. Her project is entitled, “Microbially-induced Exosomes in Dendritic Cells Promote Paracrine Immunosenescence: Novel Mechanism of Inflammatory Alveolar Bone Loss in Mice.”
