Khodadadi Defends Thesis, Enters Neurology Program

DCG Oral Biology Ph.D. graduate Hesamoldin Khodadadi celebrated two recent milestones. On July 13, Khodadadi successfully defended his doctoral thesis, “Immunoprotective Role of Cannabidiol in Neurological and Neurodegenerative Disorders.” In addition, he was accepted into the neurology residency program at the Medical College of Georgia. He began this new adventure on Aug. 1.

Khodadadi produced 24 publications while a Ph.D. student, including two on which he was first author.

Congratulations to Dr. Khodadadi, and all the best in the residency program.
