SNDA Hosts Black History Month Speaker

The Augusta University chapter of the Student National Dental Association hosted speaker Leon Maben, President and CEO of JBC Distributors and Vice-President of the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, on Feb. 9 in the J. Harold Harrison, MD Education Commons. Dozens of DCG students and faculty attended in honor of Black History Month, as Maben spoke about his personal and professional journey, the significance of the influential educator Lucy Craft Laney and the museum that celebrates her legacy.
