SNDA Volunteers at HBCU 5K Walk/Run & Health Fair

The Student National Dental Association (SNDA) volunteered at the HBCU 5K Walk/Run & Health Fair on Sept. 18 at Riverview Park in North Augusta, South Carolina. SDNA members passed out oral hygiene information and supplies including toothbrushes and toothpaste to 5K participants. Members also recruited participants to become patients for DCG clinics. Of the more than 70 participants in the 5K race, three were DCG students. DCG Community Outreach Programs provided the oral health hygiene goodie bags, activity books and stickers, funded by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant.
