Two DCG Faculty Awarded Research Development Grants

Two DCG faculty members were awarded the Early Career Research Development Grant at Research and Table Clinic Day on March 9. The grants are provided to support research and scholarly projects proposed by early career faculty and/or novice faculty researchers below the rank of Professor. Congratulations to Dr. Abdulmohsin Alhashim (left) on his $4,500 grant award for “Sexual dimorphism in obesity-induced vascular injury;” and to Dr. Kim Capehart (right) for his $4,500 grant award for “Zirconia Marginal Adaptation Determined by Fit Checker.” Alhashim’s mentor is Dr. Ahmed El-Marakby, and Capehart’s mentor is Dr. Van Haywood.
