AEGD Residents Present at Hinman Dental Meeting

Residents in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program recently presented clinical posters at the 2022 Hinman Dental Meeting in Atlanta. Drs. Jonathan Solares, Andrea Fernandez and Bethany Leedy showcased the progressive knowledge and skills that are the hallmarks of the AEGD residency.

• Dr. Andrea Fernandez, Advanced Education in General Dentistry Resident, and Dr. Mario Romero, Associate Professor and Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program, presented, “The Mandibular Overdenture: Surgical Considerations for the Novice Dentist.”

• Dr. Jonathan Solares, Advanced Education in General Dentistry Resident, and Romero presented, “Restoring Crowded Incisors with Composite Veneers Using Digital Smile Design.”

• Dr. Bethany Leedy, Advanced Education in General Dentistry Resident, and Romero presented, “Conservative Rehabilitation of Class III Malocclusion Using a Bonded Functional Prototype as an Interim Prosthesis.”

In addition, Lindsey Murphey, D3, and Romero presented, “Evidence Based Approach for Restoring Severely Broken Down Teeth.”
