Students are invited to attend the first annual JagPath Healthcare Fair, taking place on September 18 from 11am-2pm in the JSAC Ballroom. The Healthcare Fair is sponsored by AU’s Health Professions Outreach (HPO).

Whether you’ve already chosen a healthcare pathway or are still exploring your options, the JagPath Healthcare Fair is for you. Students who attend will have the opportunity to connect with all healthcare programs at AU, from undergraduate to graduate levels, and speak directly with the individuals who lead these academic programs.

“Choosing a career is one of the biggest decisions a college student will make, and for many, it happens without ever seeing the full range of options in front of them. The JagPath Healthcare Fair will give Augusta University students a chance to explore healthcare majors and careers here on campus, alongside the broader landscape of health professions they may have never been exposed to before,” said Chris Smith, interim director of HPO at Augusta University.

Students will have the opportunity to learn more about program admissions and required prerequisites, as well as receive guidance if they are beginning to think about application season.

Refreshments will be provided. Students should come dressed for success in business casual attire and are encouraged to treat the event as a networking opportunity. Students who want to sharpen their networking skills before the event are encouraged to contact the HPO office or Career Services for assistance.

Contact HPO if you have any questions about this event.
