El-Awady Wins AAP Educator Award

Dr. Ahmad El-Awady was recently awarded the 2022 Educator Award from the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), in recognition of excellence in teaching and mentoring in periodontics.

The award recognizes the periodontal educator who has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in providing education in the full scope of clinical periodontics and relays that enthusiasm to students. To be nominated, a faculty member must be a member of the AAP.
