Desai, ’16, receives teaching award from Phoebe Putney Family Medicine Residency

Dr. Koosh Desai, a 2016 graduate and internist at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia, was named Inpatient Faculty of the Year by 2021 graduates of the Phoebe Putney Family Medicine Residency Program.

Desai also serves as Longitudinal Integrated Curriculum Director for MCG’s Southwest Campus, helping develop a new curriculum that traditional produces more primary care physicians. Read more here.
