Voccio, ’81, named health director

Dr. Gary E. Voccio, a 1981 MCG graduate, has been named health director for the 10-county Georgia Department of Public Health Northwest District headquartered in Rome.

As district health director, Voccio oversees programs and health departments in Floyd, Bartow, Polk, Chattooga, Gordon, Catoosa, Dade, Paulding, Haralson and Walker counties.
